The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at the University of Jember (UNEJ) has strengthened its collaborative ties with the industrial sector through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with PT. Wahana Pronatural, Tbk. The signing ceremony took place in the International Room, FISIP, UNEJ on February 26, 2025, marking the commitment of both parties to develop mutually beneficial synergies.
The event was attended by several key figures, including the Dean of FISIP UNEJ, Suyani Indriastuti, M.Si., Ph.D., the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, as well as the Coordinators of Study Programs (Koprodi) and Heads of Departments within FISIP UNEJ. Their presence demonstrated full support for this collaboration, which is expected to bring positive impacts to both institutions.
In her remarks, Suyani Indriastuti expressed her appreciation for the establishment of this cooperation. She emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities and industry in producing competent and work-ready graduates. “This collaboration is a strategic step to enrich students’ experiences and enhance the relevance of the curriculum to the needs of the professional world,” she stated.
Representatives from PT. Wahana Pronatural, Tbk also conveyed their enthusiasm for this collaboration. They hope that through this MOA, both parties can exchange knowledge and experiences, as well as collaborate in various activities such as research, internships, and human resource development.
The signing of this MOA is expected to be the beginning of various concrete and sustainable collaborative programs between FISIP UNEJ and PT. Wahana Pronatural, Tbk. Both parties are committed to implementing the contents of the MOA to the fullest, for the advancement of education and industrial development in Indonesia.
