The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at the University of Jember is set to host its annual FISIP CUP in 2025. This event, organized by the FISIP Futsal Student Activity Unit (UKM), will feature futsal teams from various study programs and departments within FISIP. The event aims to strengthen bonds among students while promoting sportsmanship.
In preparation for FISIP CUP 2025, a technical meeting (TM) was held on March 6, 2025, in the FISIP Meeting Room. Representatives from each participating study program and department attended the meeting, which focused on aligning understanding of match rules, schedules, and technical aspects of the event.
The technical meeting was also attended by the Vice Dean III of FISIP University of Jember, DR. Edy Wahyudi, MM. In his address, he expressed appreciation for the FISIP Futsal UKM’s initiative in organizing the event. “FISIP CUP 2025 is not just about competition, but also about building student character that is sportsmanlike, disciplined, and collaborative,” said DR. Edy Wahyudi.
FISIP CUP 2025 is scheduled to take place over a full week, using a knockout system. Each team will compete to be the best and take home the coveted trophy. In addition to being a sporting event, this activity is also expected to provide a platform for students to develop their talents and interests in futsal.
With high enthusiasm from all participants, FISIP CUP 2025 is predicted to be a lively and energetic event. The FISIP Futsal UKM, as the organizer, is committed to providing the best experience for all participants and spectators. “We hope FISIP CUP 2025 can be a momentum for the revival of sportsmanship within FISIP,” said the head of the FISIP CUP 2025 organizing committee.
