The Doctoral Program in Administrative Science, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Jember (UNEJ), held an open dissertation examination for Zaki Al Mubarok, S.Pd.I., M.Si. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at the FISIP UNEJ Hall. The dissertation was titled ‘The Influence of E-Government Policy Implementation on Integrity in Corruption Prevention through Local Wisdom in Banyuwangi Regency.’
In his dissertation, Zaki Al Mubarok presented his research findings on the influence of e-government policy implementation on integrity in corruption prevention by utilizing local wisdom in Banyuwangi Regency. This research aimed to analyze how e-government policies can enhance the integrity of government officials and the community in corruption prevention efforts, and how local wisdom can be a supporting factor in the implementation of these policies.
The open dissertation examination was attended by a team of examiners consisting of experts in the field of administrative science, as well as invitees from various government agencies and academia. During the session, Zaki Al Mubarok presented his research findings and answered questions from the examiners.
After a three-hour examination process, the examiners declared Zaki Al Mubarok’s dissertation passed with a predicate of very satisfactory. The research results are expected to contribute to the development of administrative science, particularly in the field of e-government and corruption prevention, and provide input for local governments in their efforts to improve integrity and good governance.
The success of Zaki Al Mubarok in completing his doctoral studies is expected to motivate other academics and practitioners to continue contributing to the development of knowledge and national development.
