Jember, Kabar Kampus – The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at the University of Jember (UNEJ) once again held its 8th Yudisium ceremony for the Academic Year 2024/2025 on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Held in the faculty hall, this sacred event graduated 101 students from various study programs within FISIP UNEJ. A mix of emotions, including sadness and pride, filled the air as the names of the prospective graduates were announced one by one.

The Yudisium ceremony this time included more than just the reading of the Dean’s Decree on student graduation. There was also an inspiring oration session featuring successful alumni of FISIP UNEJ, each excelling in their respective fields. In their speeches, the alumni offered motivation and shared their experiences with the graduates, encouraging them to continue developing themselves and to contribute positively to society after graduation. Additionally, representatives of the graduates’ parents delivered emotional speeches, expressing their gratitude to the faculty for their dedication in educating their children to reach this significant milestone.

In his address, the Dean of FISIP UNEJ congratulated all graduates on successfully completing their studies. He also advised the graduates to uphold the good name of their alma mater and to continuously learn and adapt to changing times. “This Yudisium is not an end to everything, but rather the beginning of a new chapter in life. The knowledge and experience you have gained at FISIP UNEJ should serve as valuable assets for achieving future success,” he stated. The 8th Yudisium ceremony concluded with a group photo session involving the faculty leadership, lecturers, and all graduates.
