The University of Jember (UNEJ) has officially released its admission schedule for the Independent Student Enrollment Selection (SEMMABA) for the 2026/2027 academic year. The announcement covers a wide range of options for prospective undergraduate and diploma students. This year, UNEJ offers high flexibility by providing four distinct selection pathways, tailored to the respective qualifications and achievements of each applicant.

The first pathway to open is SEMMABA Prestasi (Achievement Pathway), specifically designed for students with excellent track records who meet the eligibility criteria for the 2026 National Selection Based on Merit (SNBP). Registration for this track will commence the earliest, running from April 7 to April 30, 2026. The selection process will take place briefly in early May, with the final results scheduled for release on May 26, 2026.

For applicants relying on their academic capabilities through a written exam, UNEJ provides the SEMMABA Tes (Examination Pathway). The registration window for this track will open from May 19 to June 4, 2026, with the examinations scheduled to take place between June 9 and June 13, 2026. This pathway remains one of the most popular options for high school graduates who wish to directly demonstrate their academic competence through the university’s independent entrance exam.

Furthermore, the University of Jember offers an streamlined option through the SEMMABA Skor UTBK (UTBK Score Pathway). This track is dedicated to applicants who have participated in the 2026 National Selection Based on Test (SNBT) and wish to utilize their scores to apply to UNEJ. Registration for this pathway will open in late June and conclude on July 6, 2026. To complement these options, the SEMMABA Nilai Rapor (Report Card Pathway) is also available for students intending to use their cumulative school academic records as the primary selection instrument.

The university administration urges all prospective applicants to pay close attention to every crucial date to avoid missing deadlines, given that the selection schedules for the various pathways overlap. The entire registration process and detailed information regarding the specific requirements for each track can be officially accessed via the university website at pmb.unej.ac.id. Through these diverse admission pathways, UNEJ hopes to recruit top-tier talents from various backgrounds to join its academic community.
