The courtyard of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at the University of Jember (UNEJ) was filled with a spirit of togetherness on Friday morning (14/11/2025). As part of the “FISIP Sehat” (Healthy FISIP) program, the entire academic community—comprising faculty members, administrative staff, and faculty leadership—gathered to participate in a joint morning exercise session. This initiative aims to enhance physical fitness while strengthening professional and social bonds within the workplace.

The event, which commenced early in the morning, was attended by the Vice Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs of FISIP UNEJ. The presence of faculty leadership served as an additional motivation for all participants. The “FISIP Sehat” program itself was established as a concrete effort by the faculty to foster a balance between workplace productivity and the physical and mental well-being of its human resources.

The atmosphere was vibrant and energetic. Under the guidance of professional instructors, participants from various departments enthusiastically followed the exercise routines. The upbeat music encouraged faculty and staff to momentarily step away from their daily routines and focus on physical activity, creating a refreshing and relaxed environment.

In line with its core theme, the activity not only promoted physical health but also successfully fostered a sense of camaraderie. The warmth of laughter and lighthearted conversation among participants effectively bridged the gap between hierarchical roles and daily duties. This moment served as a platform for positive social interaction, allowing leaders, lecturers, and staff to engage in casual dialogue within a more informal setting.

The event concluded with a social gathering and refreshments. The success of this program is expected to pave the way for it to become a consistent, routine agenda. By organizing these Friday morning exercises, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Jember reaffirms its commitment to building a work environment that is not only physically healthy but also socially cohesive and harmonious
