Venus Cornelia L, a student of State Administration at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at the University of Jember (UNEJ), has achieved a remarkable feat by winning first place in the women’s under-23 category at the East Java Paragliding League Series 3. The competition, held from August 30 to September 1, 2024, at the Lanjari Peak Paragliding Jokotole, Sumenep, East Java, was participated by paragliders from all over East Java.
Venus’s success not only brings pride to herself and her family but also to the University of Jember. This achievement proves that UNEJ students have extraordinary potential and are able to compete at the regional and even national levels. The East Java Paragliding League Series 3 is an annual event that is always eagerly awaited by paragliding enthusiasts in East Java. The competition aims to attract talented athletes and promote paragliding as an exciting extreme sport.
