Vision and Program Excellence
The Doctoral Program in Administrative Sciences at UNEJ envisions itself as a center for excellence, innovation, and integrity in the advancement of administrative sciences on an international scale. Its research focus is strategically directed toward governance and local competitiveness development strategies to support sustainable industrial agriculture.
Amidst the growing momentum of internationalization in higher education, the University of Jember’s Administrative Sciences Doctoral Program adopts a distinct approach by harmonizing global insights with local wisdom. This was emphasized by the Program Coordinator, Dr. Wheny Khristianto, S.Sos., M.AB., on Tuesday (10/03).
“We are fully committed to delivering internationally reputable higher education. However, our approach to achieving this is by prioritizing ‘glocal innovation’ in science and technology, while maintaining a strong national character,” Dr. Wheny stated.
He further elaborated that the institution does not merely aim to graduate globally competent doctors, but rather scholars who are deeply rooted in their heritage. Through these strong roots, graduates are expected to advance local potential, enabling it to compete and gain recognition on the international stage.
