Ushering in the 2026 fiscal year with a spirit of transformation, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at the University of Jember (UNEJ) convened an intensive coordination meeting to complete the Evaluation Worksheets (LKE) for the Integrity Zone (ZI) initiative in the first quarter. This strategic step is deemed crucial in maintaining and accelerating the progress of the integrity zone development, aimed at securing the prestigious Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM) designations within the campus environment.
The coordination session was attended by representatives from the six leveraging components that serve as the main pillars of the Integrity Zone framework. These six dedicated teams encompass Change Management, Bureaucracy Structuring, HR Management System Structuring, Accountability Enhancement, Supervisory Strengthening, and Public Service Quality Improvement. Throughout the session, the FISIP UNEJ Integrity Zone team engaged in various critical activities, including compiling ZI documentation, monitoring and evaluating development progress, formulating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring public information transparency, enforcing disciplinary codes and ethics, managing whistleblowing and grievance systems, and leveraging information technology.
The Deanery of FISIP UNEJ emphasized that completing the LKE is far from a mere administrative routine; rather, it reflects a concrete commitment to delivering excellent service and upholding both academic and bureaucratic integrity. Through active collaboration among these six leveraging components, the faculty aims to foster innovations that streamline workflows and elevate satisfaction among students and other stakeholders. Ultimately, this rigorous ZI development towards WBK and WBBM status is expected to establish FISIP UNEJ as a clean, accountable, and capable bureaucracy dedicated to public service excellence.
