The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at the University of Jember held a handover ceremony for the heads and secretaries of departments for the International Relations, Social Welfare, and Administration study programs. The dignified event, held in the FISIP University of Jember Hall on Monday, March 24, 2025, was attended by faculty leadership, lecturers, staff, and student representatives.
In her address, the Dean of FISIP University of Jember, Suyani Indriastuti, S.Sos., M.Si., Ph.D., expressed her appreciation to the outgoing officials for their dedication and contributions during their tenure. She also congratulated the new officials and expressed her hope that they would carry out their mandate effectively and lead their respective study programs towards significant improvement.
This departmental handover is part of the leadership regeneration efforts within FISIP University of Jember. Its purpose is to ensure the continuity of academic programs and faculty development, as well as to provide opportunities for lecturers to cultivate their leadership potential.
The newly appointed officials are expected to bring innovation and fresh ideas to enhance the quality of education and research in their respective study programs. They are also anticipated to foster strong collaboration with all faculty members and students, and to establish networks with external parties.
The handover ceremony concluded with a group photo session and a friendly gathering. It is hoped that with this new leadership, FISIP University of Jember will continue to grow and produce high-quality graduates capable of competing at both national and international levels.
