A group of students from the Margarana Tabanan State Institute for Social and Political Sciences (STISIP) in Bali conducted a study visit and field work at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Jember University (Unej) on Saturday (28/9/2024). The event, held in the international classroom of FISIP UNEJ, was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FISIP UNEJ, Dr. Djoko Poernomo, M.Si.,CIQNR, CSBA.
In his welcoming remarks, the Dean of FISIP UNEJ expressed his appreciation for the visit from STISIP Margarana Tabanan. He hoped that this activity could benefit both parties and open up opportunities for broader cooperation. “Study visits like this are very important to generate new ideas that can be applied in each institution. The new knowledge gained during this visit is expected to be disseminated to other students at STISIP Margarana,” said Dr. Djoko.
The visit was also attended by the Vice Dean III of FISIP UNEJ, Dr. Edy Wahyudi, MM, Coordinator of the Public Administration Study Program FISIP UNEJ Dr. Dina Suryawati, S.Sos.,M.AP, Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNEJ Dr. Siti Maria Wardayati, M.Si.,Ak.,CA.,CPA (representing the Dean of FEB UNEJ), and Deputy Coordinator Fifin rahmawati, SE.
Through this study visit, it is hoped that STISIP Margarana students can gain valuable learning experiences and broaden their perspectives on the development of science and technology in the fields of social and political sciences. In addition, this visit also serves as a forum for networking and exchanging information between the two universities.
