The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Jember will once again hold a job fair on Monday, October 7, 2024. This event, organized as FISIP’s effort to facilitate graduates in finding jobs that match their fields of study, has attracted hundreds of job seekers.
The FISIP Job Fair will be held in the FISIP International Room and is expected to be attended by various types of companies. Several companies and prospective job fair participants have shown great enthusiasm. Companies from various sectors are participating in this event, offering a variety of attractive positions for FISIP graduates. These positions range from government, non-governmental organizations, tourism, taxation, business administration, social welfare and sociology to private companies.
“We are very enthusiastic about the enthusiasm of the job fair participants,” said the Dean of FISIP UNEJ, Dr. Djoko Poernomo, M.Si., CIQnR., CSBA. “This event is one form of our service to the community, especially FISIP graduates. We hope that through this job fair, graduates can quickly find jobs that match their interests and talents.”
In addition to providing opportunities to meet directly with potential employers, the job fair is also complemented by various supporting activities, such as career seminars, workshops on writing CVs and cover letters, and question-and-answer sessions with practitioners.
