Historically, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Jember has had a close relationship with the FISIP of Universitas Airlangga. This is evident in the fact that several lecturers at FISIP Universitas Jember are alumni of FISIP Universitas Airlangga, including those who serve as thesis and dissertation examiners. This positive relationship has been continuously maintained and developed to support the achievement of each institution’s performance indicators.
On August 12, 2024, FISIP Universitas Jember had the opportunity to visit FISIP Universitas Airlangga in Surabaya. Accompanied by several program coordinators, the Dean of FISIP Universitas Jember, Dr. Djoko Poernomo, M.Si., CIQnR., CSBA., conveyed that the purpose of this visit was to further strengthen cooperation between the two parties. The Vice Dean I of FISIP Unair, Prof. Dr. Drs. H. Jusuf Irianto, M.Com., expressed deep appreciation for the visit and emphasized the importance of collaboration in research and community service.
Certainly, the hope of jointly increasing the publication of scientific articles in various reputable international and national journals will be easier to achieve. Therefore, on that occasion, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed between the two parties to realize various program activities.
