Universitas Jember (UNEJ) continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to fostering entrepreneurial potential among its students. Today, Wednesday (May 28), twelve teams that successfully passed the second stage of internal selection for the 2024/2025 Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) participated in a Technical Guidance (Bimtek) session for P2MW Proposal Preparation. Held on the 3rd Floor of the Rectorate Building at Universitas Jember, the event aimed to equip these teams with comprehensive strategies and guidelines for crafting compelling and competitive proposals.
This Bimtek marks a crucial stage for participants before they advance to the national selection level. Students from various faculties within UNEJ received in-depth material on proposal development, covering aspects such as business idea feasibility, market analysis, marketing strategies, and financial projections. It is hoped that this guidance will help them present innovative business ideas relevant to market needs, while also meeting the assessment standards set by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek).
Among the teams that participated and successfully passed the internal selection is the SpeakLab Team from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Jember. The presence of the SpeakLab Team adds to FISIP’s long list of contributions to fostering innovation and entrepreneurial potential within the campus environment. Their participation in this Bimtek is a golden opportunity to refine their project proposal, which focuses on communication solutions and self-development, making it more competitive at the national level.
The activity was directly led by university leadership and featured experienced experts and entrepreneurship practitioners. They shared insights, practical tips, and provided personalized mentoring to each team. Active interaction between participants and resource persons created a conducive atmosphere for discussion and idea development, ensuring each team received constructive feedback to enhance the quality of their proposals.
Through this Bimtek, Universitas Jember hopes to nurture more innovative, independent young entrepreneurs ready to face global challenges. The university’s full support for the P2MW program is expected to act as a catalyst for creating a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem within the campus environment, and to make a tangible contribution to the national economy through the emergence of new businesses initiated by UNEJ students.
