The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at the University of Jember is continuously striving to enhance the quality of its services and administration by updating its Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across three key areas: Academic Affairs (Division I); Finance, Personnel, General Affairs, and Consumables (BHM) (Division II); and Student Affairs and Alumni (Division III).
This SOP update aims to create a more efficient, effective, and transparent work system, thereby providing improved services to all members of the FISIP academic community.

SOPs for Division II: Finance, Personnel, General Affairs, and Consumables (BHM)
These SOPs focus on accountable financial management, professional personnel management, orderly general administration, and efficient management of consumables (BHM).
The objective is to enhance the transparency and accountability of financial management, the efficiency of personnel administration, the orderliness of general administration, and the effectiveness of BHM management.
Examples include SOPs for budget management, employee leave applications, room borrowing procedures, and procurement of consumables.
SOPs for Division I: Academic Affairs FISIP
These SOPs concentrate on the organization of high-quality academic activities, encompassing planning, implementation, and evaluation.
The goal is to improve the quality of education, the effectiveness of the learning process, and the smoothness of academic administration.
Examples include SOPs for curriculum development, examination procedures, research proposal submissions, and transcript issuance.
SOPs for Division III: Student Affairs and Alumni FISIP
These SOPs are dedicated to providing comprehensive student services and fostering continuous relationships with alumni.
The aim is to enhance student welfare, develop student potential, and strengthen alumni networks.
Examples include SOPs for scholarship applications, implementation of student activities, alumni data collection, and organization of alumni reunions.
It is anticipated that these SOP updates will have a positive impact on the entire FISIP academic community and will support the achievement of the faculty’s vision and mission.
