In the prestigious Rector’s Cup 2024, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Jember made history by winning the overall championship in basketball, both for the men’s and women’s categories. This remarkable achievement proves FISIP UNEJ’s dominance in campus sports.
Both the FISIP UNEJ men’s and women’s teams performed exceptionally throughout the competition. Mature game strategies, solid teamwork, and a high fighting spirit brought them to the final round. In the final match, both FISIP UNEJ teams managed to overcome the fierce resistance of their opponents and emerged as winners.
This victory is the fruit of the hard work and intensive training carried out by the FISIP UNEJ athletes. The full support from the academic community and all FISIP UNEJ members also served as a motivation for the athletes to achieve the best results.
