The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at the University of Jember has officially launched its annual creative showcase, the 2026 Faculty-Level Student Art Week (Pekasima). The highly anticipated event, which drew hundreds of students, is centered in the FISIP Auditorium. Since the morning, the atmosphere in the hall has been buzzing with high enthusiasm from participants and spectators alike, all eager to perform and show their support in this prestigious event.<\/p>\n
The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean III for Student and Alumni Affairs of FISIP University of Jember. In his opening remarks, he expressed his deep appreciation for the committee’s hard work and the competitive spirit demonstrated by the students. He emphasized that this event is far more than a conventional competition; it serves as a vital platform to discover, nurture, and channel the artistic potential and talent within the FISIP academic community.<\/p>\n

The competition is strategically designed not only to select the finest representatives to be delegated to the university level but also to provide a space for cultural expression amidst demanding academic routines. To ensure objective evaluation, the faculty has brought in judges who are highly competent experts and practitioners in their respective fields.<\/p>\n
The atmosphere inside the FISIP Auditorium was remarkably vibrant, adorned with artistic decorations that represented youth spirit and creativity. Thundering applause from the audience echoed through the hall each time a participant completed their performance on stage. The diverse range of talents displayed proves that FISIP students do not only excel in social and political studies but also possess extraordinary aesthetic sensitivity and creativity.<\/p>\n
