A proud achievement has once again emerged from the international arena through the contributions of two students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Hasyisy Ahmad and Friska Ayu Ananda. The duo successfully secured a Silver Medal at the prestigious International Student Summit (ISS), held from February 14 to 15, 2026. This prestigious competition was organized through a collaborative effort between the Sentosa Foundation, the International Student Association (INSAN) of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), and the World Association of Young Scientists (WAYS).<\/p>\n
The two Public Administration students clinched the Silver Medal with their scientific paper titled \u201cLegal Mate: An Integrated Legal Education Platform With a TAM-Based Communication Approach to Improve Legal Literacy and Accessibility in Indonesia.\u201d<\/i> This innovation is designed as an integrated legal education platform that utilizes a Technology Acceptance Model (TAM)-based communication approach. It aims to dismantle barriers to legal information access, which has long been perceived as rigid and inaccessible to the broader Indonesian public.<\/p>\n
Hasyisy and Friska’s success in Malaysia not only demonstrates the research quality of FISIP UNEJ students but also reflects their deep concern for national legal literacy issues. With this silver medal achievement, it is highly anticipated that the “Legal Mate” platform will continue to be developed into a tangible solution capable of enhancing public legal awareness through the efficacy of digital technology. Furthermore, this accomplishment reinforces FISIP UNEJ’s position as a faculty that actively nurtures globally competitive talents.<\/p>\n
