Vision

The realization of a leading Diploma III Tourism Travel Business Study Program in producing graduates who are qualified, superior, and have an environmental, business and industrial agriculture perspective.

Mission

  1. Organizing and developing education in the field of travel business that is quality, superior and environmentally sound, business and industrial agriculture.
  2. Implementing and developing knowledge in the field of travel and tourism through improving quality, creative, innovative and valuable learning.
  3. Carry out and develop the quality and quantity of research, community service that is creative, innovative, and valuable.
  4. Carry out and develop designs and networks of cooperation in the field of tourism travel business with stakeholders both domestically and abroad to increase capacity and capability.

Goals and Targets

Based on the mission that has been set, there are 4 (four) objectives of the DIII UPW Study Program, namely:

  1. Realizing graduates who are skilled, competent, creative, innovative in the field of management and development of the Tourism Industry, especially in the field of management and development of Tourism Travel Businesses that have a spirit of tourism awareness and sapta pesona.
  2. Producing works in the field of Travel Business that are excellent and have economic value, are environmentally friendly, have local wisdom and contribute to society in the National and Southeast Asian regions.
  3. Realizing an excellent work culture by strengthening the implementation of an accountable, effective and efficient quality management system based on information and communication technology (ICT).
  4. Building networks with stakeholders both domestically and abroad.

The targets of Objective 1 are as follows:

  1. Development of the DIII UPW Study Program curriculum which is directed to meet the standard standards set by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education in Permenristek No. 44 of 2015.
  2. Updating the curriculum that anticipates the competency standards of graduates through the preparation of superior study programs, especially in the field of management and development of tourism travel business.
  3. Developing Student Centered Learning (SCL) learning models that are in accordance with the characteristics of the study program, especially those related to the management and development of the Travel Industry.
  4. Strengthening quality-oriented student resources by routinely organizing activities to improve student competence in the field of Travel and Tourism Business.
  5. Strengthening quality-oriented lecturer resources by providing maximum opportunities to improve the qualifications and competence of lecturer human resources.
  6. Strengthening the capacity of human resources in carrying out the teaching and learning process through strengthening the curriculum based on learning outcomes

The targets of Objective 2 are as follows:

  1. Carry out research and community service that has economic value, is environmentally friendly, has local wisdom and contributes to the community.
  2. Strengthening the capacity and capability of students in producing tourism works and products
  3. Strengthening the capacity and capability of teaching staff in the UPW DIII Study Program in developing research groups and community service groups
  4. Preparing and improving the quality of infrastructure to support works in the field of Travel and Tourism.
  5. Actively involving alumni in academic activities to increase the competitiveness of graduates in supporting the resources of the UPW Diploma Program

The objectives of Objective 3 are as follows:

  1. Develop an organization, transparent and accountable governance and information technology based.
  2. There is transparency in the management of the budget system in Prodi DIII UPW
  3. Strengthening governance that requires integration so that system output becomes the basis for decision making.
  4. Strengthening governance based on quality management, internal audit culture through an integrated management information system
  5. Strengthening the social responsibility of the study program with tourism industry stakeholders.

The objectives of Objective 4 are as follows:

  1. Building collegial work with various graduate user industries
  2. Increasing cooperation in the fields of Teaching, Research, and Community Service
  3. Carry out joint research between institutions both regionally and nationally
  4. Strengthening the network of academic, business and community cooperation in realizing science and technology related to the Travel Industry
  5. Empowering the network of expertise / expertise cooperation in building collaborative research and community engagement.
